The World of Material Handling (WoMH) 2018 will be documented by photos and videos as part of Linde Material Handling GmbH's public relations work for reporting on the event and advertising of future events.

The recordings are used on the internet pages and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, Youtube) of Linde Material Handling GmbH, its network partners and other companies of KION Group AG, as well as to illustrate brochures or other printed products of Linde Material Handling GmbH. They are stored as long as they are necessary to achieve this purpose.

The recordings are prepared and used on the basis of Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. Var. 1 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to safeguard legitimate interests in meaningful public communication about the event organized by Linde Material Handling GmbH.

The recordings will be published on the Internet and thus made available to the general public. If the recordings are uploaded to social networks whose operators are based in the USA, this only takes place if they have a Privacy Shield certification. In accordance with Commission Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016, the EU Commission has found that the US guarantees an adequate level of data protection under the EU-US Privacy Shield agreements.

Under the conditions laid down in the GDPR, you have the following rights towards the person responsible with regard to your personal data: Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), right of rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), right of cancellation (Art. 17 GDPR), right of restriction on processing (Art. 18 GDPR), right of opposition to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), right of data transferability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR).
